We create film, theatre, and media rooted in real life—stories shaped in the margins of busy days, family rhythms, and the quiet persistence of women who keep showing up. It Has Pockets! Productions™ was born out of a desire to make meaningful, redemptive work without stepping outside the realities of motherhood, but instead working within them. We believe creativity doesn’t have to compete with what matters most—it can live alongside it. Our projects reflect honest experiences, carry a sense of hope, and make space for both artistry and the lives we’re already living.

We’re building a different kind of production company—one that values sustainability, collaboration, and the long view. That means creating space for artists to contribute in ways that honor their lives outside the work, and developing projects that are thoughtful, intentional, and made to last. Whether it’s a local theatre production, a film in development, or a quiet piece of digital content, everything we make is guided by the same belief: there is room for meaningful work in the midst of real life, and there is always more being carried—and created—than meets the eye.
